Robot competition at the Centennial Hall

2020-03-24

At the end of January, in the Centennial Hall in Wrocław, another, already 12th edition of the Robotic Arena was held. As in previous years, the event was supported by TME.

Nearly 350 competitors from Poland, Mexico, Estonia, Greece and Cyprus arrived in Wrocław. A total of 210 robots competed in 18 categories. The most interesting of them were Combat, i.e. battles in specially constructed cages, and Rescue, i.e. locating a plush toy in a labyrinth and bringing it to a safe location.

The competition was watched by over 5 thousand spectators throughout the day. The organizers – the “KoNaR” Robotics Scientific Club of the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, prepared a wide selection of additional attractions for all the visitors. These included workshops on programming, electronics and 3D printing.

Congratulations to all the winners. We wish you further successes.
