Single-core cables are fundamental in all electrical connections, and they are applied in fields such as general industry, electronics, telecommunications or power engineering. In the Helukabel range, you can find stranded single-core cables, with PVC insulation (compatible with the ECA standard). They are characterised by rated voltage of 300 V, 450 V, 500 V or 750 V and the cross-sectional area ranging from 0.5 mm2 to 150 mm2. The cables are available in various colour versions, mostly single-colour two-colour variants. It needs to be mentioned here that the insulation of Helukabel cables is flame retardant and non-flame propagating, which is a tremendous advantage offered by these products.

It is also worth mentioning the standards and certificates with which the products from the German manufacturer are compliant, because the list is quite impressive: CSA-AWM I A/B, CSA-TEW, UL 1015, UL 1063, and UL 10269. These documents state the safety standards which the cables meet and determine the implementation of those products. Thanks to that, we know that the Helukabel offer is suitable for both home and industrial environments. In addition, the standards listed here define the adaptation of individual cable types to environmental conditions. Polyester braids

Polyester braids, even though they might seem subtle, play a crucial role in the reinforcement of electrical cables by protecting them from mechanical damage and environmental factors. Made of durable material, they form a protective layer around the wiring and in this way ensure better durability, but also flexibility, which makes the installation of the cables and manoeuvring them easier. At TME, you can purchase two colour versions, grey and black, of Helukabel braids, whose length is 25 m, 50 m or 150 m, and diameters range from 1 mm to 66 mm. Importantly, Helukabel braids are suitable for work in temperatures from -50°C to 150°C.

Protective conduits

The purpose of protective conduits is similar to that of polyester conduits, i.e. protecting cables and wire harnesses from mechanical damage and environmental conditions. Thanks to their design, they can fully isolate cables from external conditions, which makes them suitable for demanding industrial applications. The Helukabel products are made of polyamide, polyamide 6 or polyethylene in two colour versions: black and grey. Protective conduits are available in different sizes – the inner diameter is from 4.5 mm to 47.9 mm. They are adapted to work in different temperature ranges, and their flammability rating is UL94HB, UL94V-2 or UL94V-0 – it is worth remembering about those while selecting the right product.

Accessories for conduits

Cable and braid accessories seem to be insignificant details, but in fact they play a key role in providing not only the effective electrical connection, but also in maintaining the security and reliability of the whole system. The selection of particular products will depend on the target system’s design and the user’s needs. Helukabel provides products such as glands, mounting brackets, fittings for cable holders, DIN rail mounting brackets, gaskets, cap plugs, angle and straight connectors.
