Switchcraft started its operations in 1946 by manufacturing sockets, plugs, and switches mainly for the telecommunication industry. Over time, it added products that are suitable for harsh environments to their offer, which made the company grow rapidly especially in the industrial products market. Switchcraft is a leading supplier of products that are resistant to mechanical and corrosive factors, as well as connectors for audio/video equipment (including professional solutions). The brand’s components are used in telecommunications, medicine, but also in the computer, military, and transportation industries.

In the TME catalogue, you will find three main groups of solutions from Switchcraft: data connectors (including D-SUB, USB and RJ); audio/video connectors (XLR jack, RCA, etc.) and similar DC mains plugs; as well as a wide range of industrial connectors. The last group includes round connectors, mounted on a panel or on a wire, characterised by a high IP rating. Most of the products are designed for a rated voltage of 125 V, but products for 250 V and 600 V AC are also available.
