Schaffner was founded in 1962. Its first products were heat dissipators, electronic relays and flow meters for petrol stations. A few years later, the company marketed its first EMC line filter. Today, Schaffner components are widely applied in motor control, wind and solar power systems, power generation, as well as the railway industry, CNC machines, industrial robots and various types of power supplies. The company’s operations are worldwide, with laboratories and production facilities located in Asia, Europe and North America.

Our online shop offers several product categories from the extensive range of passive components by Schaffner. The largest group comprises interference filters (mainly for single-phase 250 V systems) with a wide selection of operating currents. It should be noted that these are well-shielded and protected solutions – they can be integrated into the circuit using THT leads or fixed inside the target device’s housing using screws. These devices are compliant with a number of international standards (e.g. UL 1283, CSA 22.2, IEC/EN 60939) and can therefore be easily applied as components in mass production processes. Moreover, Schaffner also offers pulse transformers (including THT transformers) and a wide selection of inductors.
