Sonel was founded after the political and economic changes in Eastern Europe at the end of the 20th century. Thanks to investments in the development of the design department and striving to meet the highest global standards, today Sonel is one of the largest manufacturers of measuring instruments in Poland. The company specializes in the manufacture of high-quality safety meters, appliance testing equipment, and power quality analysers.

Sonel's products are characterised by excellent performance and a wide measurement range while ensuring safety and ergonomic operation. They are designed for energy (including wind and solar systems) and rail transport sectors. Products such as insulation resistance meters, multimeters, or power quality analysers not only meet international standards but also have several unique features allowing complex analysis of collected data, automation of measurements, or remote monitoring of parameters. Most of the manufacturer's devices are powered by built-in batteries and enclosed in housings that are resistant to mechanical damage and harsh environmental conditions. They are made for fieldwork and greatly improve the work efficiency of electrical engineers, maintenance technicians and inspectors. Sonel's offer also includes (equally durable) ultrasonic leak detectors, milliohm meters, and short-circuit loop impedance meters. These are also classic measuring instruments - digital multimeters, clamp meters, phase sequence indicators, voltage testers, or pyrometers. These categories include devices with basic functionality, models with data logging, and products that work with mobile devices. Dedicated manufacturer applications are used to download and analyse data from the devices.
