Due to their characteristics, these fuses are used in applications with a risk of temporary overloads. Thanks to a slower reaction to high short-circuit currents, short-lived currents larger than nominal do not trigger these fuses. If an overload persists, these components ensure more efficient protection. Time-delay fuse is widely used in many standard PCB applications and electrical appliance circuits – i.e. laptops, TVs, and players. They are also perfect for motors and transformers that often cause temporary overloads during start-up.
