Fluke 28 II EX industrial multimeter

We are happy to announce that the Fluke 28 II EX industrial multimeter returned to our stock. This model is one of the most durable devices in the manufacturer’s range. Its enclosure is IP67 rated (fully dust- and waterproof) and can withstand a fall from 3 metres. In addition, the product is ATEX-certified and can operate in potentially explosive atmospheres, specifically: in group IIC Zones 1 and 2 (gas) and group IIIC Zones 21 and 22 (combustible dust). The device can be used wherever petroleum, chemicals or pharmaceuticals come into play.

In terms of performance, the Fluke 28 II EX is equally impressive. It can take measurements of up to 1000 V and 10 A (AC and DC) as well as precise AC voltage measurement for non-linear waveforms (True RMS). Other functionalities of the instrument include:

testing of resistance and capacitance;
circuit continuity and diode test;
detection of frequencies up to 200 kHz;
duty cycle factor;
conductance.

An integrated, low-pass filter ensures the precision of voltage and frequency measurements of VSDs (Variable Frequency Drives, AC motor controllers). Optionally, the device can also be used for temperature measurements with the use of a thermocouple. It is also worth noting that the multimeter has been designed with the user’s convenience in mind. Its software includes functions such as minimum/maximum/average/relative value logging, as well as HOLD (used for freezing the reading on the display). The measuring ranges can be changed manually or automatically.

The meter has illuminated buttons, perfectly visible in dark areas, and a large LCD with white backlight with two intensity levels. The instrument requires power supply via commonly available AAA batteries (3 pcs).
