The Everlight EL357N- optocouplers series was designed with applications requiring a compact form and high reliability in mind. The elements in the SOP4 package combine an infrared diode with a phototransistor, providing isolation up to 3750Vrms and a fast response time (switching time in the order of microseconds). They offer a universal solution for transmitting signals between circuits of different potentials and impedances in DC/DC converters, programmable controllers, and telecommunication devices.
The parameters of the devices enable stable operation over a wide temperature range (from -55°C to 100°C).
Depending on the version, the current transfer ratio (CTR) ranges from 50% to 600%, allowing for selection of a version to meet the requirements of the feedback loop or control path. The output phototransistor can operate at a collector-emitter voltage up to 80V.
Another important feature of the EL357N-G elements: they meet UL and VDE safety standards, thus they can serve as components in control infrastructure. They provide isolated signal transmission, enabling stable, safe, and predictable operation of the entire controllers.
